10 jaar lang bepaalden uitgelekte naaktbeelden het leven van Meddy Goossens (30). Ze schaamde zich zo erg dat ze haar naam niet meer durfde uit te spreken. "Waarom heb je die foto gemaakt?" Die vraag hoorde ze toen op 19-jarige leeftijd haar naaktbeelden uitlekten en werden gedeeld. "Je hebt niks verkeerd gedaan, maar toch ga je het geloven." Tot ze zich realiseerde dat niet zij, maar de verspreiders zich moeten schamen.

At the age of 19, nude photos of Meddy Goossens were unintentionally distributed online, in which she was seen as a minor at the time. "Then you shouldn't have taken them," were the reactions. Now she is writing a book to turn that story around: "You never hear: then no one should have forwarded them." How people reacted to it hurt her more in hindsight than the fact that the photos had been leaked.
